The Edmonton Host Lions Club recycles used eyeglasses.  Donated eyeglasses are collected, sorted and refurbished before being sent to third world countries, free of charge,  for distribution, through the Canadian Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centre.  CLERC sanitize, save, assess and supply single vision glasses, bi-focal glasses, reader’s and non-prescription sunglasses.
